Mohammed Al Mansoori

General Manager

Mohammed Al Mansoori is UDI’s General Manger and has over 10 years of experience in the Construction Industry and Project Management.

He is action oriented with exceptional problem solving & interpersonal skills with an emphasis on team building and team performance.

His vision of leadership is to lead UDI to great heights by expanding business and the successful delivery of all projects in an efficient and economical manner.

His positive attitude and approach to business challenges with a sense of confidence has led him to take the right action in achieving UDI’s vision and goals.

Prior to joining UDI, he held different positions in several prestigious companies like Musanada, Arabtec, Abu Dhabi Ports to name a few, providing expertise in the field of Construction and Project Management.

Mohammed Al Mansoori holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Leeds Bucket and Master’s degree in Project management from Abu Dhabi University.

Tarun Antony

Head of Design

Tarun Antony has a professional experience of 24 years having worked on a variety of large-scale project types, including commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, industrial, and master planning. His responsibilities have included taking a project from the start, developing the design, and managing the design team, to ensure project completion within time and agreed budget during all phases of the project. Currently, he is involved in the design of a wide range of projects such as ADNOC Headquarters Finance & Investment Floors - Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Visitors’ Center and Plaza - Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library - Dubai, Grand Canal (Ritz Carlton) - Abu Dhabi, Department of Culture & Tourism HQ – Abu Dhabi to name a few. Tarun’s strengths include dedication, organization, analysis, and leading teams in the creation of world-class programming, space planning, conceptual development, and design development.

Tarun has an engineering degree in MSc. Management of Projects (University of Manchester, UK) and Bachelor of Architecture (University of Madras, India).

Lina El Hassan

Head of Projects

Lina El Hassan has served as head of projects at UDI since 2013. In this capacity, she is responsible for achieving the firm’s overall strategic objectives and growth. As a head of projects, she has been responsible for a wide range of complex projects include Tatweer Project, Rehabilitation of 9 Schools and 3 Kindergarten in 2017, Tatweer Project, Rehabilitation of 5 Schools and 2 Kindergarten in 2018 and New ADNOC Headquarters - Entrance Lobby.

Since her joining to UDI, Lina is recognized for her leadership, brings exceptional problem solving & facilitation skills and playing vital role between clients & stakeholders to communicate issues with clarity while putting forth solutions with impact assessment to overcome project hurdles.

She is French, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture School of Engineering & Architecture and graduated from Lebanese American University, Beirut Campus, Lebanon.

Joseph Sebastian

Head of Contracts & Estimation

As Head of Contracts and Estimation at UDI, Joseph has comprehensive experience and knowledge in pre-contract and post-contract administration. He has played a key role in providing effective control over project costing, budget allocation, tendering, and project valuation and claims as well as great expertise in FIDIC type of contracts.

Joseph is a Qualified Professional in Contracts and Commercial Management in the Construction Industry and Consultancy Firms, having more than 22 Years of experience, with a specialization in Interior Design and fit-out firm Cost Management services; involved in many iconic projects such as Abu Dhabi Airport, Abu Dhabi Global Market Offices, Federal Tax Authority Office, Emirates Palace Hotel, Atlantis Hotel, Ministry of Education projects etc.

Since the year 2014, Joseph has been managing the Commercial and Contracts matters of UDI.

Terence Rogers

Senior Interior Designer

Terence is a Senior Interior Design Manager who has more than 38 years of experience, both office and site-based, delivering and supervising design packages across a broad spectrum of construction sectors in the UK, Europe, SE Asia, Australasia, and UAE. As Senior Interior Design Manager, he has organized and led the interior design and technical team effort for multiple large and medium-scale projects including the fit-out of 16 floors at the 75-storey ADNOC Corporate Headquarters, fit-out of the 37-storey Five Star Dusit Thani Hotel, Abu Dhabi and the detailed design package and supervision of the Duty-Free Perfume and Cosmetics, Sunglasses and Jewelry retail outlets recently opened at Zayed International Airport, Terminal A, Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining UDI, Terence’s project management and technical delivery experience extended internationally on a diverse range of projects including UK Overseas Ministry of Defense facilities, aircraft hangar and offices at Manchester Airport, Phases 7,8 & 9 of Broadgate Re-development, Liverpool Street Station London, Commercial Office Tower development, Canary Wharf, London, 14-storey Five Star Sheraton Voyager Resort Hotel in Antalya, Southern Turkey, 38-storey Five Star Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as various medical, residential, commercial, industrial, education, hospitality and resort projects.

Ahmad Al Halabi

Senior Interior Designer

Al Halabi has extensive experience in creating bespoke concept designs to meet the Clients’ briefs and expectations. He also delivers detailed and coordinated materials and color proposals to achieve design aesthetics.

Since joining the firm in 2004, Al Halabi has worked on some of UDI’s most dynamic and transformative projects including the Sheikh Khalifa Mosque Project in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Global Market Chairman & Vice Chairmans Offices, Emirates Palace Villas, Abu Dhabi, VVIP Residences and Private Villas in UAE.

Al Halabi is a Syrian national, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Damascus University, Syria (1992-1998).

Anas Orabi

Senior Interior Designer

Anas Orabi joined UDI in 2004, through working with a wide range of Clients on varied building types, he understands that each project is unique, and responds to each one accordingly to ensure the highest design quality. Anas has comprehensive expertise in the design styles and work process, from the project concept to the handing-over stage.

In his capacity as Senior Interior Designer, he is responsible for leading major projects, such as ADCO Headquarters Shining Tower, VVIP Palaces and Health Spa Buildings, and YAS Healthcare Long Term Facility, Abu Dhabi and the New Villas in Al Maqta for EWAA.

Hanz J. Salazar

Senior Interior Designer

Hanz is one of the Senior Interior designers at UDI. With more than 25 years of experience as an Architect and Interior Designer. Hanz has successfully completed numerous VVIP Private Villas, Government, and Commercial Spaces from inception to completion. His sophisticated sense of style channeled through great artistic skills combined with a creative and well-traveled imagination and an acute sense for details proves his ability to manage all projects to create purpose-intended interior environments.

He proves his extensive knowledge of space planning methodology with excellent communication and skills, interpersonal strong self-motivation, perseverance, and of course the quality of his works by leading UDI’s major projects such as the Department of Culture & Tourism Offices at the Nation Tower, Ministry of Education’s Main and Activity Buildings, Development of 16 Schools and 5 KGs, Teachers Training Institutes in Ajman, Refurbishment of Department of Education & Knowledge Office in Al Ain, National Marine Dredging Headquarters Office in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, MOE’s Educational Zone Office in Fujairah, Das Holding Offices, United Design International Office, VVIP’s Residences, to name a few.

He is from the Philippines and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines (1977-1982).

Jade Samaniego

Interior Designer

Jade serves as an Interior Designer based at UDI. Since she started in 2014, Jade is particularly proficient in producing design concepts, sketches and rendering as well as reviewing technical detail drawings and shop drawings and preparation of FF&E schedules.

She has worked on numerous project types including the 75 Storey ADNOC Corporate Headquarters, 37 Storey Five Star Dusit Thani Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Ministerial Office Designs, and Commercial & Hospitality Projects in UAE.

Jade is from the Philippines and earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, Philippines.

Ameera Mohamed Al Marzooqi

Interior Designer

Since joining UDI in 2018, Ameera has honed her skills in developing innovative sustainable designs. She has the ability to organize FF&E designs, internal finishes, and create concepts required by the Client, and present in mood boards and presentation booklets and other resources of media such as videos and design catalogs.

Being an Interior Designer, Ameera has contributed to major projects of UDI including VVIP Villas, Private Residences in Al Ain, and Royal Residences in Abu Dhabi. In addition to different commercial and major hospitality projects and others for social and healthcare institutions in Abu Dhabi

Ameera is an Emirati designer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in Interior Design from Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. She also has creative capabilities and experience in graphic design.

Sheikh Mohammaed Saeedi

Civil Engineer

Sheikh Mohammed serves as civil engineer at UDI. He is particularly adept at coordination between client, consultant, subcontractors to integrate scope product with emphasis on analyzing shop drawings, submitting WIRs, RFIs. He joined UDI in 2018 has undertaken some of major projects that include Sadiyaat Louvre - Abu Dhabi, Hidd Al Sadyaat Villas Development, and Al Raha Development Project. Mohammed is from Yemen and holds Bachelor in Science Major in Construction Management Abu Dhabi University.

Sabrina Antwan George

FF & E Designer

Sabrina started as an FF&E Designer at UDI in 2018 and has brought with her project experience that includes an understanding of cost structures with the capability of producing FF&E cost plans and finishes schedules for tender documentation. Her focus was to bring designs to life through her ability to select and specify colors, fabrics, furniture finishes styles, functions, and configurations in coordination with the Interior Designers.

Her strengths include Concept design, Implementing Schemes, and Strong Knowledge of Market Products and Global Suppliers. She has an excellent understanding of Corporations, Hospitality and Commercial Projects, FF&E Requirements, and Procurement Process as well. A superb production of moods, materials presentation boards, and technical specification packages to meet the ergonomics and durability fit for the intended purpose.

With her capacity in UDI, she has contributed to major projects including Abu Dhabi Airport, Dubai Courts, VVIP Villas and Residences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, The National Archive Building, Renovation of Villas (Ritz Carlton – Abu Dhabi), and Marine Innovation Centre in Umm Al Quwain.

Sabrina was born in Egypt and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from Alexandria University in 2012.

Mohamad Al Halabi

Project Manager

Mohamad Al Halabi is a Project Manager at UDI with more than 12 years of experience. His responsibilities have included planning architecture/interior designs, developing prototypical drawings, and managing commercial projects. His personal and professional integrity help ensure that his projects and accounts are well-managed and of the highest design quality.

He joined UDI in 2015, having a vital role in executing major projects including Renovation for Ministry of Education (Design & build), Dubai, Ommana AL Tasjeel Offices, Dubai Marina. Mohamad’s portfolio also includes distinguished contributions in some projects such as Luxury Private Villas, Emirates Hills, Dubai Al Habtoor Hotel, Palm Island, Dubai and Rocco Forte Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Al Halabi is Syrian, holds Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design University of Science & Technology, Ajman, UAE (2006).

Jo-An Gurimbao

Health and Safety Engineer

Gurimbao is Health and Safety Engineer at UDI, playing an instrumental role in delivering the safety and healthy spaces during the process of construction works of all types of projects undertaken by UDI in the UAE. He joined the company in 2018 and was responsible for major projects that include Sheik Khalifa Bin Al Nayan Mosque Al Ain, Al Arabia Press & Media Building, Lulu Tower - Abu Dhabi and Tawasul Taxi Base - Abu Dhabi. Gurimbao is Philippines,holds the Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering University of Perpetual Help, Rizal Philippines.

Hamad Mohamed Al Saqqaf

Project Manager

Hamad Mohamed Al Saqqaf, a seasoned Civil Engineer and Project Manager, has made significant contributions to the field of interior design. With a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Engineering System & Management, his expertise blends technical skills with an eye for design. At Abu Dhabi General Services Company ‘Musanada’, he manages large-scale projects, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional standards.

His proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools complements his strong project management skills, making him adept at transforming design concepts into practical, appealing interior spaces.

Hamad’s work is characterized by a focus on harmonious, sustainable designs that effectively utilize space and resources.

Mohammed Mubarak Al-Awbathani

Project Manager

Mohammed Mubarak AL -Awbathani is an Effective and resilient planning Engineer with 9 years of experience in project management, controls, and planning for complex and large-scale projects with values exceeding 300 million Dirhams.

Lead strong coordination and monitoring procedures throughout the project lifecycle with a focus on enhancing productivity and promoting organizational efficiency to reduce cost.

Strong experience in delay analysis combined with sound judgment and strong analytical skills to determine the root cause of the delay, major issues impacting the project, and the action required to reduce the impact of these issues.

Mohammed Al-Awbathani has worked previously in Arabtec as a Senior Planning Engineer in many | mega projects such as Midfield Terminal Airport (MTB), West Yas Villas -1000+ Villas Client Al Dar, Zayed Museum Client: DCT and other medium scale projects such as Gloves Factory Refurbishment Kizad Client: AD PORTS, ADT Fuel Station KIZAD Client: AD PORTS.

Mr. Al Awbathani holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University on 2014.

Waleed Yousif Alhammadi

Sr. Project Manager

Waleed Alhammadi is a Senior Project Manager at UDI and has over 10 years of experience in the field. He has extensive experience in construction supervision, engineering, and project management.

Some of his expertise includes carrying out activities relevant to the Prior Project Execution Phase (under the tendering process up to preparing a technical evaluation report to bidders) and overseeing the Project Execution Phase (executing project activities from its commencement up to its handing over to the client).

Before joining UDI, he held vital positions in different respectable authorities in the UAE, such as Etimad (ESSS), Musanada, Abu Dhabi Housing Center, and Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations. His success in this field is due to his core work ethic, which focuses more on innovation, sustainability, and establishing credibility within his team.

Mohammed Al-Awbathani has worked previously in Arabtec as a Senior Planning Engineer in many | mega projects such as Midfield Terminal Airport (MTB), West Yas Villas -1000+ Villas Client Al Dar, Zayed Museum Client: DCT and other medium scale projects such as Gloves Factory Refurbishment Kizad Client: AD PORTS, ADT Fuel Station KIZAD Client: AD PORTS.

His previous projects include major contributions to different establishments in the UAE, including but not limited to, the construction of four (4) schools in the Western region, the design of three (3) ladies’ clubs in Abu Dhabi, etc.

Waleed Alhammadi is an Emirati national holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University.
